| Abstract | The "Stichting Gastronomische Bibliotheek" (Gastronomic Library Corporation) incorporates the library of bibliographer and food historian Joop Witteveen and his partner Bart Cuperus and the library of foodwriter Johannes van Dam. From 2006 onwards parts of the collection Stichting Gastronomische Bibliotheek are being transferred to the Special Collections of the University of Amsterdam. The "Collectie Gastronomische Bibliotheek (Gastronomic Library Collection) at the moment contains Dutch cookery books, a few German, French and English cookery books and also books on beverages, etiquette, cooking techniques, home economics and dietary studies. |
